 Welcome to Anna's Italian English website.

Hi, my name is Anna Maria Giannini, I'm British born and of Italian origin. Although I've lived in the UK for most of my life I also spent a few years living and studying in Italy.  I am naturally bilingual with an ability to communicate and have excellent language skills.

I teach Italian and English using creative methods with innovative, personalised approaches. Educated to post graduate level and a TESOL qualification, together with experience in teaching, I am well placed to help learners at various stages and levels of language learning.

Learning a language can be daunting, it's a creative work in progress towards reaching your objectives.  I always encourage a positive outlook where clients are able to feel they can achieve their aims along their desired journeys.

What I do 

With experience in teaching, I introduce and develop Italian and English language skills based on individual needs maximising students' potential to communicate.

Content

Native Italian and English conversational practice with the integration of dialogues which can be tailored to individual students.

Grammar at various levels reinforced with various tasks.  Lots of activity and task based work to enhance understanding, meaning and context.

Why I do it

I have always been passionate about languages and have a natural ability to teach together with good people skills.
In past roles, I have assisted language participants with their understanding of everyday use and concepts targeting their needs.

Individuals, small groups, larger groups. Schools, Corporate clients.

Fees

I specialise in one to one tuition and small groups.  All lessons are 1 hour long.

One to one
First 50 minute consultation and taster lesson £30, additional lessons £36.

Small groups (2 - 6 people)
First 50 minute consultation and taster lesson £19, additional lessons £26 (block of 5 consecutive lessons £125). 

Please note the cost is per person.

Large groups (6 + people)

Payment terms are cash.

Please note that 48 hours notice is required if you are unable to attend a pre-booked lesson or wish to change the date and time as we reserve the right to charge you for the missed lesson.

Based in CB2 covering most of the South and Central Cambridge area.  Home visits available within a 10 mile radius.  Regular lessons held at local venues.  Online lessons also available, please call to discuss.
